FRITZ CAMORIANO
Work history:
Practiced exclusively intellectual property law since 1980; has
written and prosecuted patent applications on a wide variety of
inventions, including conveyors, new chemical compositions, electrical
controls, goose calls, actuators, bottle caps, and heat recovery
steam generators. Has also done a considerable amount of licensing
work and trademark work. Began practicing at Rexnord, Inc., in Milwaukee,
then worked in the intellectual property section of Quarles & Brady
in Milwaukee, and has been in Louisville since 1987. Foreign Languages: Russian, French, Spanish Professional Associations: Member American Intellectual Property Law Association, Cincinnati

Association seminars. Other Information: Grew up primarily in Glastonbury, Connecticut (near Hartford) and
Alvin, Texas (near Houston). Was in the first freshman class of
women at Notre Dame. Attended Notre Dame thanks to a full, 5-yr.,
merit-based scholarship from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. First summer
out of high school, interpreted for wife of the head of the Russian
Space program, who had come to Houston with her husband for meetings
regarding the Apollo-Soyuz mission; summers during college, worked
at Monsanto, in Texas City, Texas in Acetic Acid Licensing Dept.,
and spent one summer studying Russian at Leningrad State University;
summer during law school, clerked at Foley & Lardner in Milwaukee.
In her youth, she was a competitive swimmer and enjoyed playing
the guitar -- now, she is married, with two daughters, and sews
a mean Halloween costume. Formerly Secretary of the board of Summit
Academy, a school for children with learning disabilities, and formerly
Secretary of the Notre Dame Club of Kentucky. Guillermo E. Camoriano Tau Beta Pi Foreign Languages: Native Spanish speaker. Work history: Has worked extensively in international sales of engineered products,
including water purification systems and systems involving mass
and heat transfer, especially of viscous products, and equipment
for liquid/solid separation, selling in Asia, Europe, Latin America,
and the Middle East. Received Exporter of the Year award from the
governor of Kentucky in 1989. Has been working in the patent area
with Camoriano and Associates since 1999. Other Information:
Grew up in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Attended the American
School in Tegucigalpa, where classes were taught in English. U.S.
Citizen since 1983. |
